Embassy Suites by Hilton Portland Maine

Our company uses this hotel and I recently stayed there a few weeks ago for business. The meeting room is spacious, and the staff is simply excellent… Rosemarie and Sonny at the front desk are simply amazing , Super friendly and always enjoy to see upon arrival.. The driver of the shuttle they are both super friendly and most helpful as well. I would love to point out Jolene and.Yuli.. they both take care of our meeting room, our team and everyone involved during our complete stay they check on me constantly and just make sure everything is perfect. The staff is the reason companies and guest returned to the property. Great location next to the airport easy to get downtown and surrounding neighborhoods five stars all the way every single one of these employees, including housekeeping are simply wonderful every time….

I recently took a trip from the DC area to Boston with a final stop in Portland Maine. We chose this hotel specifically because it had wonderful reviews and convenient location next to the airport. After dropping off our car rental at the airport, we walked to the hotel which only took a few minutes. I’ve stayed at Embassy Suites before, and this location was quite similar in terms of the attention to detail and the overall ambiance of the building and rooms. The bed and pillows felt wonderful and there was a nice walk-in shower with a glass door. The suite area also had a couch and mounted TV with plenty of space to get work done. Rosemarie, one of the hotel employees, was wonderful in making sure all my needs were taken care of. I highly recommend this hotel for anyone staying in the area.

Their workout room is the best I’ve ever seen in a hotel. They have the usual cardio stuff, plus a rowing machine. They have weight machines, dumbbells, and kettlebells up to 30 lbs. Add a couple cable machines, including leg press, and you almost have a full gym. The only downside is they don’t seem to serve real maple syrup with their breakfast. Why be cheap on that?

Beautiful, newly renovated hotel. My suite was very clean and quiet. The complimentary breakfast was great. I especially liked that they had gluten free bagels, gluten free blueberry muffins, almond milk and oat milk. The staff were friendly and helpful. I would highly recommend this hotel.

I went here for a quick work visit. The staff was incredibly helpful. The option to text staff for help was even better. Breakfast was great. I did not get to have an omelette but they looked fantastic. Two free drinks a night at the bar we're also a nice touch. Situated by the airport isn't ideal, but I'd go back for a work trip like this.

Good clean hotel. Staff is very nice and helpful. They put on a good breakfast. Jetport is close by and everything else you want to do in Portland is within short driving distance.

This hotel has become my go-to when flying in late at night and wanting a good rest before picking up my car rental and starting my trip. It is very close to the airport, and the shuttle showed up 5 minutes after we called them at midnight on a Tuesday. That was pretty key for me. One consideration regarding the shuttle is that it is not handicap accesible. I was traveling with my mother, who is not in a wheelchair, but does have trouble with steps and had to struggle getting in. The breakfast buffet was the reason I made the reservation. The made to order omelettes were great and if they ever got rid of them, or the fresh fruit and yogurt, I likely would stay somewhere $20 cheaper. I'm a vegetarian, but morning meat eaters probably would be stoked by the bacon and sausage. The quality looked much better than what I find when I stay at a Hampton, which I often do. Our suite had 2 queen beds on the 4th floor. There were 2 separate rooms connected by a small hallway with the bathroom sink. I personally prefer the sink to be separate from the shower and toilet, as it makes it easier/faster for multiple people to get ready in the morning, so this was great for me. One of the rooms had the two beds with a thermostat on the wall. The other room had a couch, a desk, a coffee table, and a tiny kitchenette with with a microwave and coffee maker. The beds were comfortable to me, but I prefer flatter pillows and the only option on the bed were big fluffy ones that hurt my neck. Good thing I travel with my own pillow. My only other complaint is with the hallway rugs, which is not a dealbreaker like the non-handicap accessible shuttle, and maybe not worth mentioning (but I will anyway). The hotel was redone not too long ago but the rugs looked like they had not been shampooed in a while. I could be wrong (because honestly what do I know, I don't work in the hotel and I don't know how many people come through there, spilling their coffee and not letting staff know.) It really is not that big of a deal, the floor in the rooms were clean. But if you are someone whose experience is ruined by that sort of thing, heads up: I still recommend you stay there, because I cannot imagine another Portland airport hotel hallway carpet being better than this one, but set your expectations accordingly. This place is an excellent value for the money.

This is a great hotel to stay at. It's close to the airport and clean rooms. The omelette bar was amazing and the cook joe was great. Brendan at the front desk was so helpful and accommodating. He was super busy but took the time to make sure each guest was helped. Excellent stay.
